Piccalilli Newsletter - Issue #42

Welcome permalink

Pozdrav đź‘‹

Happy Tuesday! I hope you’re doing as well as you can be at the moment.

A couple of you reported that this newsletter landed in your inboxes last week when it shouldn’t have and I’m really sorry about that. I really don’t like unwanted emails in my inbox, so I shouldn’t be imposing them on you!

There was a bit of a bug in the system, to say the least. I just thought that I’d remind you that you can unsubscribe whenever you like—especially if you didn’t subscribe initially. There’s a link down in the footer that will unsubscribe you from all emails 👇

Anyway, back to the newsletter. We’ve got another fancy sites special this week, so lets get stuck in and make our eyes smile.

Fancy sites permalink

Rouser

⚠️ Motion Warning ⚠️

A black backround with bright green text. A bubble hovers over thetext

This site is exceptionally lush, albeit slight problematic on an accessibility basis. The use of the bubble—especially with the primary call to action is very smart and well delivered though.

Agora

⚠️ Motion Warning ⚠️

A mainly blue site with a 3D rendered phone and 3D rendered creditcard

This is really clean and the motion is outstandingly smooth. I’m not normally a scroll-jacking fan, but this site does it really well.

Passione

⚠️ Motion Warning ⚠️

A black and white site that's mainly typographybased

This site is wild. There’s so much to play with. I can also confirm that wine makes this lockdown more palatable…

Project Shift

⚠️ Motion Warning ⚠️

Very bright green background with dark purple text. A purplemono-tone image of a mechanic working is on theright

Superb colours, superb layout and lovely design touches. I really like this one.

Design Islands

⚠️ Motion Warning ⚠️

Some hand-drawn, colourful islands on a sketchysea

We close out with a fabulously creative site. There’s so many hidden gems as you navigate around and play.

That’s all, folks permalink

Thanks for stopping by this week. Maybe you could share this newsletter with a pal? Just forward this email, or share the link.

Until the next issue, take it easy.
